If you are considering deploying IBM i Mobile Access, or have already deployed it in your enterprise, this session will show you elements that administrators need to understand. We will highlight functions of the solution such as determining PTF and System Value status, running and saving Commands, and picking up a 5250 job from another device at a later time. We will then discuss the very rich Customization tooling built into the product that allow you to Restrict or Customize Access to the solutions features based on standard IBM i OS Group and User profiles. We can also provide pre-configured 5250 session and SQL Queries for your users to run using these tools and examples of doing such will be provided. Finally we will discuss other security considerations like TCP/IP port access and SSL encryption.
